8mm and Super 8mm

I love the clicky sound of film through a projector. Mine has a really loud one. I even enjoy the smell from a running projector. Family footage on 8mm and Super 8mm goes for big bucks on Ebay. Too bad. I'd like to have a nice library of them. I wish more people who bought these films would put them online.
I can understand their appeal. The do put me in a certain mood.
