Cleopatra

We watched the entire 4 hour version of Cleopatra last night at the Paramount. It was a great print in 70mm. Not a single flaw, not a single blurried moment, it was awesome. The lines were pretty unforgettable. It has technicolor power, kitsch power, Liz Taylor and Richard Biurton power, the film rocks. I 've been dying to see the Mankowitz so called failure for years but never found time. Actually I told William that we could leave whenever but he kept getting sucked in and at an hour left we had to stay. The theatre was pretty crowded.
