chard, roses, Schulz, distractions, thinking, thinking.....

In the midst of simple chaos, I'm totally distracted by a perfect serving of perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked chard. Yummm, thank you chard, and yay me for doing you up so good! Today I'm happy to be blessed with one of those minds that races from one thing to the next and for the moment seems to dwell on heirloom roses. This topic has occupied my free mindspace for the past few weeks. Not much can do that. More specifically it's the "rose rustlers" who go around finding old roses and saving them from extinction. I'm reading about where they go and where and how they find this roses. It is tres gossipy actually.

I'm in the middle of reading Schulz. Hmmmmm this guy....I don't know, but my friend read the book and says she now knows what's behind those lil comics and can't enjoy them like she once did. By the time I got to page eight I was already jaded.

Back to lovely distractions. It's great to have that sort of fickle thinking that catches waves of inspirations and thoughts and just rides them out till the next one comes along. It really didn't work for me at all in an academic setting. It is however, much appreciated and better suited for real life.
