I got my bike!
Well, sort of. It is an obscure Murray Swarthmore and it looks like a wannabe vintage English 3 spd. At least it does to me. As soon as I got it I checked it into the Peddler Bike Shop for a total overhaul:
Tune-up
Cables and housing
Salvage shifter cable
New bar (because I wanted a new shape)
Grips (maybe, depends)
Tires
Tubes
Saddle seat (Velo-Orange of course because Brook$ is like...$hi$hicaca but I love the look and fit)
Coming soon: awesome chrome fenders and retro looking lights from Velo-Orange.
I'm excited!

Thanks! The bike guy said he'd take no more money from me though because the bike is only so-so good and not really of any value. Geez, I knew that. It's not a Raleigh. Okay, I got it, poop. But then he added that if I were in France it would be something to whistle at. Teehee. So no Brooks saddle, it already has a decent leather Permaco (a what?) and the fenders are just fine.
